The THERMOCOUPLE EXTENSION END is used to connect two (2) thermocouple lead wires. The lead wires are terminated with female threaded NST No. 8-32 connectors. The THERMOCOUPLE EXTENSION END is composed of a brass bushing, a brass tube, and a brass nut. The hardness of the brass surfaces is approximately 35 Rockwell C; the bushing and nut are plated with cadmium/nickel alloy; the threads are cadmium/nickel alloy coated steel; and the tube has a black finish (UL file number E

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION - 48"" Thermocouple Extension End

This Thermocouple Extension is the perfect replacement for any of your broken or dysfunctional thermocouples. With a length of 48", this universal extension can fit onto just about any temperature controller, and will get your readings within seconds!

The thermocouple extension is a 48 inch/1220mm chromel sheath-covered stranded copper wire with an integrated ceramic thermocouple. Metallic electrical terminals are crimped for connection to the thermocouple. The equipment end has a basic specification of 1.27 mm2 (18 AWG) stranded copper, with 2 mm2 and 4 mm2 AmpFlex accommodated on request. The cable diameter is 2.8 mm with suitable heavy wall cable insulation.
