Practical and easy to install, the Thermostat Kit for Star can help you save money on energy costs. Designed to be used with both American Standard's Star I and II gas valve models, it is necessary for achieving temperatures above 205° F (95° C).

The ILLUSTRIX Thermostat Kit allows you to control the temperature of JOBAR® Star systems. The kit includes a 50k NTC (negative temperature coefficient) bi-metal thermister, case, wire and screws. It easily replaces existing thermostat and can be set in a range from 0°F to 300°F (-18C to 149°C).

The Thermostat Kit is intended to be used as a replacement for the Part # 53009. The thermostat kit includes the cable and element, but does not include the bracket or lower cover.
