This toilet creates a flushing system with 9 ounces of very concentrated waste holding liquid. The disposal tank holds about 3.5 pints of black water and can be easily emptied with the included discharge hose into any standard household plumbing.

Over time, water may develop a chlorine taste and odor. Replace your water filter every two months (even with normal use) to ensure the highest quality drinking and cooking water. Replace filters after any prolonged use of hard or very hard water. The THETFORD® PORTA POTTI® 135 water filtration system filters out sediment, rust and scale particles that can adversely affect the beneficial bacteria in PORTA POTTI® systems for up to six months.
