Our THERMOSTAT-ACTUATED expansion tank senses when water pressure drops, and automatically opens or closes the valve to maintain a consistent flow of hot or cold water. The tank mounts to the wall or ceiling using only one supplied screw, and can be converted into a recirculation pump by connecting it to the TK30002 model inlet-outlet pump. This expansion tank has a standard 1/2 inch male NPT thread connection and maximum temperature range of 145 degrees Fahrenheit. It is constructed with a thermoplastic polyester material for spill resistance and durability. Its integrated handle allows easy installation.
