TR-1 TR1-120-7070-00 Throttle actuator - Mercury 15 & 20

Throttle actuator - Mercury 15 & 20, MFG# 120-7070-00, for TR-1 Gold Autopilot. New ECU (Aug. 2015) is not compatible with previous actuator kits.

The ECU is also backwards compatible with control heads that use a red throttle lever, and with previously issued ECU actuators (120-7050). TR-1 Gold Autopilot users should use the #120-7050-02 kit for older control heads, or the #120-7070-00 kit for newer control heads.

The original Mercury throttle actuator is for use with 3rd party autopilot systems, and has a plated steel shaft. The TR1-120-7070-00 is a newer actuator that has been certified for use with the ST1000+ Gold Autopilot system, and has a stainless steel shaft.

Popular actuation for Gold Autopilot, which is a combined compass/steering servo system in one unit. Enables pilot to concentrate on navigation and set heading or course at the helm station instead of keeping hands at throttle. Works with most motors and electronic control units (ECUs) and allows maximum burn time. Includes new ECU (Aug. 2015).
