The Trane BAYHALT249 is a replacement High Altitude Pressure Kit for Trane XE1000, XE2000 & XE3000 series packaged units with a 9.5-15 SEER compressor. This kit contains all the components that may need to be replaced in areas of high elevation.

With the Trane BayHalt 249 High Altitude Pressure Kit installed, your Trane air conditioner will continue to deliver optimal cooling performance even in the most difficult conditions.

If you live at high altitudes, your cooling system may require additional pressure to operate at peak efficiency. If your cooling switch is not marked for high altitude installation, or if these steps do not resolve pressure issues, install this high altitude pressure kit.

Trane's BayHalt 249 High Altitude Pressure Kit is specifically designed for homes in high altitude areas to ensure your unit continues to operate efficiently. The kit includes a high altitude gas orifice, 5 piece diameter conversion set, low pressure safety switch, pressure switch retainer ring, Pb6 100 psi temperature limiting valve with an integrated check valve, and the evaporator temperature sensor.

Avoid high altitude pressure loss with this kit, designed to work with any Trane residential high efficiency furnace. Includes a new spring assembly, an adapter connector and 2.5 feet of tubing

This kit is designed to set the blower pressure for a variable speed compressor in high altitude applications. The kit comes with a pressure adjustment knob, a spring loaded outlet valve and a air pressure gauge.
