This is a 170-200F Auto Limit Switch for the GKT3053 The GKT3053 was recalled in 2015. A gasket is included with this switch. If you are installing a new unit or have removed the old switch, include this gasket by selecting it from the option menu.

This listing is for one press-to-connect Gasket by Trane from their GK Series. This gasket measures 5 DN x 1.60 W x 6.40 LH and is manufactured from nitrile rubber (Buna N). It is non-corroding and resistant to most chemicals. The temperature range for this product is -20F (-30C) to 150F (65C).

The GKT3053 is an ultra-compact, fixed temperature control designed for main vent systems only. The unit works with an indoor air handler that is equipped with a BPTI (Building Pressure Transmitter Interface) HART communication protocol. It monitors the building's outdoor air temperature prior to install and will turn the outdoor fan on if conditions drop below setpoint (170F), or activate the reversing valve/fan if the outdoor heat exchanger temperature equals or exceeds setpoint (200F). The indoor fan remains on and starts to cycle on and off until either condition has been satisfied.
