Trane Ignitors are designed to provide reliable ignition and consistent performance in gas-fired heating systems

This IGNITOR will NOT work with the new CW series ignitors and should be replaced with a replacement part number CW0148-3

The glowing metal then heats up the gas in your furnace so that it can produce heat for your home

The CCW type ignitor is being phased out in favor of the smaller, more efficient 'CW' ignitor

The ignitor features an integrated seal-less housing for improved reliability and durability as well as reduced sound levels for quieter operation

It is used on a variety of products such as variable speed furnaces, gas fired condensing boilers and warm air furnaces

The IGNITOR's job is to ignite the gas flame when electricity is sent to it by heating up a piece of metal until it glows

The Trane IGN0148 is a Ignitor for use with gas furnace systems

Trane igniters meet or exceed all industry standards including ASHRAE 90
