The Trane PAN1071 evaporator drain pan is used to collect, cool and drain condensation from vertical split-system air conditioners. The drain pan collects any water that accumulates in the evaporator coil and allows the water to flow out of a drain port, which can be connected to a laundry tub or a drain pipe. The evaporator pan also helps prevent flooding because it collects excess condensation before it overflows onto the floor or basement ceiling.

This pan is designed for use with a Trane or American Standard brand evaporative condenser. The pan provides an opening to easily clean the condenser, and also gives it a secure place to drain.

Give your drain pan the support and anchor of a pan and frame kit (sold separately). Pan and frame kit is designed for use with existing 24"" x 24"" butler base. This kit connects easily to the existing air handler pans or factory positioned drain pan of your Trane product. It consists of a galvanized steel frame, 10 GA. raised edge floor grill, 15 GA. galvanized wye, galvanized riser and 25? section of 10 GA. PVC ducting.
