The SWT1649 is a switch designed and manufactured to match Trane's Screw OrOPtion/Locking Electromechanical (SOLEM) Valve. The SWT1649 is specifically designed for residential applications. By attaching the SWT1649 to the Solenoid Wafer of a SOLEM valve, the screw portion of the SOLAM coil is eliminated. This eliminates the hazard of recreational swimming around this area as well as eliminating concerns about skin contact with solenoid electrical components. For situations where a float is still required, a Flo-Check kit should be applied on top of reverse flow switch
