The Float & Valve Assembly for the 707U Humidifier connects the water tank to the humidifier. This float and valve assembly comes in black. A Float and Valve Assembly for the 707U humidifier is designed to continuously monitor the water level in your humidifier and automatically shut off the humidifier if water begins to run low. The float and valve assembly for 707U is used in humidifiers, furnaces, boilers, and room air conditioners. This float has a wire at the end of the shaft attached to the lever on the valve that opens and closes according to the water level inside. When no water is present, or there is little water left in the tank, the float lowers until it touches the glass tube which is connected to the fuel source. When it does this, it shuts off flow of fuel so no more gas can go into the furnace.
