The AO Smith TST2052 high limit 175 degree heater is a 1/2 horsepower non-condensing gas fired tank style water heater that looks fantastic and works well. It has an easy to use temperature and pressure relief valve that is perfect for a home with large families or someone who likes to take long hot baths. The control panel is ergonomic and easy to grip. All of the fittings are made of brass so you don't have to worry about corrosion or rusting.

With the HIGH LIMIT you have the option to select different high limit thermostats that can be easily installed in a variety of radiant heating systems including hydronic, electric and radiant systems that utilize an indirect heat exchanger. With 498 stainless steel construction, durability is never an issue. You won't have to worry about corrosion either as stainless steel is resistant to salt, acid and other corrosive elements. And you will appreciate the temperature range of 90 to 170 degrees Fahrenheit (32 - 77° Celsius).

Our 170 Degree High Limit Element is designed to handle the hottest temperatures imaginable. Ideal for installation in outdoor gas grills, outdoor kitchen barbeques and other commercial outdoor cooking appliances, or place this heating element inside a wood burning oven. With an adjustable thermostat head, and a temperature range of 650 degrees, this heating element has the capacity to reach temperatures higher than other standard elements.

Can be used as a high limit valve kit (gas valve) for a TROJAN™ gas or electric water heater. This high limit screw-in thermocouple is designed to stop the gas flow if the temperature reaches 175°F.
