Honeywell introduces the Zone Valve, a 120-volt, 1" NPT motorized zone valve designed to operate several zones independently. It comes in 12 V and 120 V models, with screwdriver and/or dial operation.

The Zone Valve has been designed to control heating or cooling loads in 1 zone of a 2-pipe, 3-wire system. This valve uses the Honeywell 5800 Series Control Board. The Zone Valve will require a 24 Vac power source and return piping. It has an N type (normally closed) contact on the close port and C type (normally open) contact on the open port.

The ZoneValve automatically controls the flow of water between two connected indoor HVAC systems. It allows two separate thermostats to control two different areas of the home independently. With this Zone Valve you can turn off a zone to save energy or supply hot water when additional space is needed. Handles up to 50 PSI. The AANR/ANSI Standard for zone valves is ANSI/ASME A112.19.8-2004
