The Honeywell 1 1/2 in. NPT two-stage diaphragm gas valve with manual override is designed for use on natural gas. The high flow poppet is activated by a spring, allowing the valve to open quickly at full flow. Once the flow has been stopped, it closes slowly and can be re-opened manually at any time. The manual override is typically used during the winter when home heating fires may be more common due to cold weather.

The V4944-B1091 is Honeywell's standard 2-stage, diaphragm gas valve for residential gas appliances and liquid propane gas (LPG) barbecue grills. This valve operates on a 1-1/2 in. NPT gauge connection and has a 5/8 to 11 in. minimum pressure drop at 100% duty cycle.
