This Honeywell 3/4" linear valve provides single and dual-source zone control with a motorized actuator that provides up to 2.5 cubic feet per minute of base air volume. The available 20 amps of dedicated power for the actuator helps ensure smooth and uniform zone pressure changes, reducing unnecessary cycling on baseboard heaters due to heat loss through the circulator when warmed by room air.
This temperature control valve is suitable for regulating water heating and cooling in residential and light commercial air conditioning applications. It has a hermetic scroll compressor motor, two-way linear flow control with internal proportional limit, and an easy-to-read bi-lingual indicating gauge. It mounts to the cold-inlet pipe, and can be used as an expansion, relief or zone valve.
The Honeywell Zone Valve allows you to individually control up to 3 zones at a time. The valve can be controlled by its manual Control Knob or automated from the e2 family of thermostats via its R- and T-wire terminals. Ideal for 2-pipe hydronic systems, this valve will enable the homeowner to save on energy costs while providing more comfort and savings with individualized heating/cooling based on heating time and season.
The Honeywell 12986 Motorized Zone Valve, part of the Q350 Series, is designed for use with 1/2 to 2-1/2 inch polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe. It features a digital control and a dc brushless motor that eliminates carbon brushes for extended life and quiet operation. Up to five valves can be mounted in a single chassis - three on the left and two on the right. Each valve may be separately controlled with its own set point using a detachable keypad or remote transmitter (Qi9000 Series).
