The Honeywell 2-Pos 24V Zone valve with sweat nipple, 100587 provides an economical alternative to a general population control valve, and helps reduce the potential for frozen control valves. When equipped with auxiliary heaters or a warm air intake system, these valves can further improve zone temperature regulation in cold weather applications. This 2-pos 24V zone valve features plastic housing, insulation between positions, a press fit plastic insert packing bushing and improved thermoplastic diaphragm. It has field selectable 3/4" sweat cap connector.
Honeywell 24V Zone Valve is ideal for use with a zone system, helping to conserve water by only allowing it to flow through the area that needs it most. It features a 3/4-inch sweat connection and 2-position diverter to provide flexible plumbing connections.
The Honeywell 100587 is part of the SWEAT Valves family. The SWEAT Valves fits any ductwork designed for split systems of central air conditioning or heat pump systems. Also, the SWEAT Valves fit a 24V heating and cooling system. These valves can be used as either ordinary valves or zone controls.
