SPOT SOUND MASKING LAY-IN CEILING SPEAKER

The V-9422 SPOT sound masking speaker is an ideal solution for audio masking applications where a portable speaker is required, as well as any installations requiring a ceiling-mounted speaker. This lay-in ceiling speaker can be connected to most audio systems (such as those utilizing a computer sound card, control board or amplifier) to provide audio masking at the touch of a button.

The V-9422 SPOT Sound Masking Speaker, 2-Ft Wide x 2-Ft Tall, is a standard lay-in ceiling speaker that easily installs into drop ceilings and provides optimal sound masking performance. The speaker comes in white grille and enclosure and measures 2 feet wide by 2 feet tall.

The V-9422 is a true two-way, high power, 2' x 2' ceiling integration speaker providing 360 degree sound masking on an 88 square foot area. Offering 16 diameters of coverage and up to 1200 watts peak power handling, this easy and convenient lay-in ceiling integration speaker can be installed for immediate operation.

The SPOT ceiling speaker reinforces the masking signal in very quiet rooms, soft office areas or conference rooms. It effectively masks unwanted noise from the main room resulting in increased privacy of conversation and improved intelligibility for everyone.

Designed to be mounted in the ceiling of four or five foot high spaces. This speaker is best used in conference rooms, restaurants, and classrooms where privacy and sound masking is important. It is also used in areas where background music is desired for employee relaxation. The SPOT-3 is useful where an existing sound masking system is present. It can be attached to the V-Series bass speakers with a special cable that can be purchased from your local Valcom dealer.

Valcom's Lay-In ceiling tile speaker is flush mounted behind the ceiling tile of a commercial or institutional facility to deliver high quality sound where desired, without recruiting additional space for a larger loudspeaker. The cosmetically appealing polyurethane trim provides a seamless appearance behind the tile while providing a durable paintable surface that will not rust or corrode over time. Tuneable Frequency® and Remote Control options are available at additional cost.
