Network Clock Controlled Tone / Message Generator

The CTG-2A is a network clock controlled tone / message generator. A complete, scalable solution for multi-location communication applications. Locally housed CTG control system can control tone generators remotely without dedicated telephone lines. Operate tones or voice messages through any selected location (primary or remote) with a local push of a button or automatically via the CTG Control System from another location up to 500 miles away. Make announcements at different locations simultaneously with the CTG-2A tone and voice message generator's built-in network capability.

The CTG-2A is a network clock controlled tone / message generator with a 2,000 message capacity. It has four programmable clock/time-out sequences which can provide programming of 3-hour to 12-day cycles. The CTG-2A will acknowledge stations with FCC-approved selective calling techniques including attention, pre-recorded (announcement) and unacknowledged selective calling methods. It can be programmed to repeat messages or to continuously transmit information on inactivity / panic alarm conditions.

The Viking Electronics CTG-2A is a network clock controlled tone/message generator. The CTG-2A has an 8 KHz to 32 KHz frequency range with a variable 1 Hz resolution and a variable duration of 6ms to 900 ms. It generates two tones simultaneously with different frequencies or the same frequency with dual durations for "dual beat" signals.

The CTG-2A Tone and Message Generator features network clock control which sends tone, voice and data to distant paging terminals that are networked (nodes) together. The CTG-2A is a cost effective solution for providing specialized tones and messages to parties who may not be on the same network.
