This Water Level Sensor works with the Scotsman SC350-PD9 Compressor, SC450-PD9 Compressor, and SC570 Gas Fired Residential Ice Machines. Sensor mounts to the evaporator cover.

The Water Level Sensor alerts you when your water bin is running low--saving you time and money. There is no need to check the ice bin manually or overfill the bin to ensure there's enough water.

The Water Level Sensor is designed to be installed at the lower end of each cell or holding tank. A 50/50 solution of water and glycol is chilled in a mixing tank and then sprayed into the bottom of each holding tank or cell. This sensor allows you to determine when the correct amount of solution has been added.

The Water Level Sensor connects to the hot water supply and turns on the ice maker if the ice bin is low on water. The Water Level Sensor monitors the ice maker's reservoir and shuts off the unit when it's full. The sensor also shuts off the ice maker when a leak develops or if there is an overflow condition.

The Water Level Sensor allows the filtration system to automatically maintain water level for customer convenience. When food debris or other unintended material enters the water tank, it is detected by this sensor and an alarm sounds and/or the filter comes in to a "clean" cycle.
