WELD-AID 388-B-200 is a 1 gallon package of BRITE ZINC® COLD GALVANIZE® Compound.

The aluminum, zinc and magnesium concentrations in this 1 gallon container will give you the basic concentrations needed to produce a weld metal with a target Brinell Hardness (or HB) of 120-180 or greater. This compatibility study has been performed using Weld-Aid 388-B-200 Brite Zinc Cold Galvanize Compound.

1 gallon of cold galvanize brite zinc with pumice. Provides a smooth coating for repairing rusted or rough surfaces, especially on sheet metal, pipe, automobile body, or any surface that requires cold galvanizing.

Brite Zinc 388-B-200 compound is a coldgalvanizing compound for steel.The product contains 0.15 pound zinc per gallon of liquid. Cold galvanizing is a process by which iron or steel is coated with zinc, either through immersion in a zinc solution or by spattering molten zinc on the metal. Cold galvanizing is less costly and easier to apply than production hotdip galvanizing."

Weld-Aid is a cold galvanizing metal treatment used to prevent rust and protect ferrous metal parts from corrosion. BriteZinc 388A is ideal for welded applications, bridge decks, gussets, nuts and bolts, and general applications such as roofing that require metal to remain bright and clean.

Brite Galvanize is used to prevent corrosion on all above-ground hot or cold galvanized metal. For use on new, cleaned, and degreased bare metal surfaces where cathodic protection of less than 1 mA is required. When properly applied and maintained, one coat of Brite will protect against corrosion for 18 months to 2 years.
