Wilkins 12-ZW1070XL is our high performance, lead free thermostatic mixing valve with no lead 'ASSE1070' - Zurn Standards EN1829-2. This model has a 10-minute, adjustable, equal temperature offset and comes in an all brass body 'ASSE1016'. It is a basin type mixing valve 'ASSE1016'.

The Wilkins 12-ZW1070XL Wilkins Thermostatic Mixing Valve is a lead-free mixing valve designed for installation in commercial plumbing systems. The 12-ZW1070XL Wilkins Mixing Valve has an integrally formed non-reinforced saddle to accommodate external strainers and modified outlet configurations, multiple T&P circuits with internal pressure compensating spring technology, stainless steel and bronze construction for durability, and treadless compression screw assembly.

The Wilkins 12-ZW1070XL thermostatic mixing valves are designed for use with hot and cold domestic water systems that utilize copper pipe. The Wilkins 12-ZW1070XL includes two mixing valves, each with 104°C setting temperature, chrome plated stems, and low lead content that comply with applicable ASSE standards.

The Wilkins 12-ZW1070XL Thermostatic Mixing Valve is a lead free alloy valving design providing reliable long-life Wilkins performance and durability within water distribution systems that use thermostatic expansion valves. It is suitable for copper, CPVC and PVC water distribution systems and has been manufactured to withstand chlorine attack. This valve can be installed in either the hot or cold system and will allow for differential between supply and return pressure. This valve is rated to 180ºF (82.4ºC).

It features an automatic temperature compensation circuit that adjusts locally for the optimal balance between hot and cold water. The higher the temperature of one water source, the greater the percentage of hot water in the mix. An internal diaphragm controls flow and operates quietly without a flap disc check.
