The Ignition Kit for Natural or LP Gas is a safety device which is required for propane, natural gas, and manufactured (Octane-Enhanced) gas installations. It is to be used only with automatic shutoff devices.
The Honeywell Universal Ignition kit with flame sensor and ignition control is designed to make the conversion from Natural or LP gas to propane easier. Rather than trying to seal off your gas valve and re-route the line, this kit will help convert your natural or LP gas grill into a propane grill.
