The York® Oil Cooler TXV is designed to protect your air conditioner from frequent short cycling by helping it avoid low pressure shutdown. When the system recovers from a short cycle, it must wait for the operating setpoint to reset and the oil in the condensing unit to return to its proper temperature.  The TXV helps the system load quickly and cool more effectively, thereby reducing high pressure shutdowns and extending equipment life.
