This high pressure cutout switch is designed to automatically shut off the water supply to your tankless water heater, if the pressure in the discharge line becomes too high. The high pressure cutout switch may help reduce water damage caused by a possible rupture in the discharge line. This switch is intended to be installed on a cold water supply line located near the tankless heating equipment.

The York 025-39956-000 is a high pressure cutout switch designed for use with residential water heaters. It is designed for use in conjunction with a 120 volt, single phase heating system that uses either natural gas or propane and is not intended for use in the commercial market sector. The switch includes an operating temperature of 140oF, adjustment screw and S-trap mounting to prevent vapor lock.

This 3/2-way, normally closed, high pressure cutout switch is designed to limit the operating pressure of water in hot water systems and prevent scalding. The 025 series is equipped with an adjustable knob to set the maximum pilot flame that will cause the high pressure valve to activate. This allows you to set the system so it will activate only at a specific gas pressure.

This product is a high pressure cut out switch, also known as a water cut out switch. It is used in electric water pumps to protect the pump from damage when two things happen: (1) electric pumps running dry and (2) electric pumps with water that has too much dissolved solids in it (water logged).
