Our Sensor Split Core Current Transformers are designed to be plug-in replacements for many common current transformers found in the telecom, data communication and transmission industry. The split core design allows higher current capacity than wire wound models.

The new Sensor Split Core Current is suitable for use on most residential and small commercial split systems through 20 amps. It offers a compact, easy-to-install design that will fit into existing equipment racks while still providing a variety of features.

The new Sensor Split Core Current Transformer provides current, voltage, total harmonic content (THD) and power factor measurements. This single component solution offers all the functionality required of conventional three terminal solutions. The solution is capable of measuring discrete or 3-phase loads up to 5kA at 480VAC with CSA approval for Class 0.4 C terminals.
