465V Start Relay

The 465V Start Relay is used to handle the high inrush current of new, slow blow, tri-clamp starters. It provides this start current for 0.1 seconds (T90) and then opens the circuit for the remaining 0.15 seconds (T150) provided by the starter solenoid.

The York 465V Start Relay is used for two-speed motors up to 2HP, 10 amps.

For replacement and additional versatility, choose the York S1-024-26024-000 465V Start Relay. This relay replaces the uninterruptible power supply's start relay. The unit mounts easily to a 15-gang electrical box.

This 1-in 2-out (normally open or normally closed to start) 1.2 amp Start Relay provides positive control over the starting sequence of a 1 horsepower 400 series motor and an existing 1 DPST Photocell to provide automatic operation control.

Start Relay is a no contact, light duty, low voltage start relay. This head mounted device is used to confirm closure i.e., open when circuit is broken and closed when the circuit is energized with 24 VAC/VDC or less input. A green LED indicates power to the coil. A red LED indicates inadequate power to the coil. Two push-button switches are provided on the head of the relay for changing function between start and stop applications.

This relay has 240V contacts and is designed to handle 20A at 240V. We recommend customers use this with a switch and ballast resistors and HID Ballasts.
