Flame Sensor

The Flame Sensor has a normal sensing range of approximately 12 inches (30.5 cm) to 3 feet (91 cm) above the burner.

NEW YORK S1 Series - Flame Sensor detects the flame on your gas steam, gas water heater, gas fireplace or gas oven and switches on the gas supply automatically. Ideal for home owners installing a new appliance or upgrading an existing system. It is factory-preset with the maximum flame height of each appliance it will control to maintain optimum operation. Flame Sensor is located in the control box of the appliance itself eliminating the need to insure that the sensor is correctly situated in the room. The built-in thermocouple ambient temperature sense switch will deactivate Flame Sensor when desired temperature is achieved.

Our Flame Sensor models are designed to detect flames from a variety of different flame positions or configurations, such as a single burner or a multifuel range. The models are designed specifically to determine the presence of flame in a timely fashion for safety.

The S1-025 is a Flame Sensor that is designed to detect gas appliances and ensure safe operation. This Flame Sensor features a red light, a blue light, and a 9 VDC output. It operates at a frequency of 50/60 HZ and a voltage of 120 AC.

The Flame Sensor for York Gas Fireplaces is the flame sense replacement bulb. The flame sensor for this item is UL and ULC Listed. The flame sensor and igniter for this item is also available in a two pack.

The S102532661002 Flame Sensor from York comes with a flame sensor control device pcb. It also has an auto-reset function built-in and ncr type enclosure with surface mounted components housed within. It has a flame monitoring output that is capable of being used as a room thermostat.

The YS1 includes a Flame Sensor that automatically increases fan speed when gas is detected. When the Flame Sensor detects no flame after 30 seconds, it will automatically shut off the burner.
