The 2Stage Furnace Control provides total comfort and energy efficiency for your furnace. Stage 1 reduces the heat output to save money on utility bills. Stage 2 allows you to raise the heat output to warm your home quickly and efficiently.

The York® 2-stage furnace control is used to play your central heating at different temperatures at different times of the day. This control features two stages of heating to provide even, efficient heat at all hours. The first stage is ideal for keeping cool mornings comfortable, while the second stage can be used to heat rooms that are moderately warm, or to top up heat in rooms that haven't reached the programmed temperature.

The S1 Two-Stage Furnace Control, also referred to as a two stage thermostat, is used for gas furnace applications. It is designed to handle the demands of small and large homes with up to 3 stages of heating system operation (Hot start to start; Economizer; Economizer down to temperature; Economization above temperature to Hot stop)

The digital control of the York 2-stage furnace control, model S1-331-03009-000, offers a reliable and accurate way to regulate the temperature in your home. Long-lasting and easy to use, this control can be used for both hanging and horizontal applications. It is designed for use with forced air furnaces only and should not be connected to a gravity gas system.

The York 2 Stage Furnace Controllers operate a two stage blower. When the thermostat calls for cooling the first stage will run until the set point is achieved, then automatically switch to the second stage, increasing air flow to circulate cool air throughout your home.

All controls that operate your furnace (other than the thermostat) now come as a two stage kit. A two stage kit provides both "off" and "on" positions for each control. For example: with a stage kit, thermostat and blower motor can now be off with the furnace and emergency heat on, or you can manually turn everything off. This kit is easy to install!
