The Honeywell R7849B1013 Flame Signal Amplifier provides the flame detection signal from a flame detector to both a fire alarm control panel and to remote monitoring equipment. It is compatible with Honeywell's legacy Falcon (R) Series systems by providing one 0.8 sec. or 1 sec. nominal signal (selectable). This product requires a 24 VDC power supply. The flame failure output is not supported in this amplifier.

Honeywell Gas Alarm Signal Amplifiers are used to boost the existing gas detector's detectable limits. They are compatible with many of the Honeywell Alarm Systems, available in 0.8 and 1 second failure modes.

Each unit has a precision control that allows you to adjust the flame height from 0.8" to 1 second. The units are housed in a metal enclosure for long life and is protected against dirt, moisture and prying hands by a hinged metal cover. The flame failure signal amplifier is designed for use with medium rise and high rise buildings where an electro-mechanical relaying system with reduced fire floor signaling capability is installed. The flame failure signal amplifier receives a fire floor signal from the relay unit or a manual pull station and produces a visual or audible alarm on the fire floor. The amplifier has a circuit arrangement which will allow it to be intermixed with conventional type audible alarm horns, or conventional type combined visual and audible alarm devices without danger of false alarms.
