The Honeywell 35279, R7824, R7847, R7848, R7849, R7851, R7861 and R7886 Flame Signal Amplifiers, used with RM78XX and EC78XX relay modules are compatible with all NMEA 2000 instrument networks. These signal amplifiers provide power amplification in applications ranging from engine room connectivity to boiler equipment status monitoring. The flame signal amplifier is a solid state unit utilizing a rugged current loop that provides immunity to external electromagnetic interference. The Honeywell R78XX Series are low cost positive voltage regulators with a range of input voltages from 85 VAC to 264 VAC while offering steady state output voltage for power supplies, protection of circuits against transient surges, and signal amplification. The positive output voltage is 0.75 Volts more than the positive input line when the ambient temperature is 15 oC (59 oF). The R7xx Series amplifiers offer high power dissipation ratings up to 35 Watts at 85oC. This series is used with the RM78XX and EC78XX relay modules for explosive atmospheres.

Honeywell Flame Signal Amplifiers are used with the R78XX and EC78XX relays, Flame Detectors, such as the FR7852, and the Heat Detector, such as the H3505A. The M7545 acoustical signal amplifier provides 100 dB of sound output, which can be used to alert remote persons of a fire or supervise remote detection circuits without visual observation of the flame detector.
