The Mini-Peepers UV flame detector is a compact, two-piece mercury free sensor that provides invisible UV detection at 1/2 in. ports. The sensor contains two UV lamps that are linked to a dual optical chamber assembly and an electronic circuit. The entire assembly is potted in a glass filled nylon body which has an operating temperature range of -20° to 350°F (-29° to 177°C). The Mini-Peepers UV flame detector also features a 70 dB audible alarm, adjustable sensitivity settings, and optional self checking capability via its calibration switch.

The MINI-PEPPER Model 2062 UV sensor is designed for smaller scale HVAC applications where the paging of localized alarms is required. The compact, half-size cylindrical design is easier to install than any other pyroelectric device. The MINI-PEPPER Model 2062 UV sensor reliably detects flame in heater and burner components over a wide range of temperatures and surrounding atmospheres.
