The Honeywell 68076 Amplifier is a Class A, single stage flame amplifier for use with R7824. R7847, R7848, R7849, R7851, R7886 and G8GA series smoke detectors. This amplifier may be used with larger diameter gas piping systems. The amplifier has a built-in optical sensitivity control for regular or high speed gas piping systems. The blaze orange plastic enclosure indicates when the amplifier is operating normally and also provides increased surface temperature during operation for easy voltage testing.
