The CONBRACO 45220 Apollo Valve 10-400 Series Bronze Safety Relief Valve, ASME Hot Water, 30 psi Set Pressure, 3/4" NPT Female is designed to control pressure in hot water systems. This valve is rated for ASME Class I and III service and constructed entirely of brass utilizing a bronze disc seat.

The Apollo Valve is a free-of-bleed hot water relief valve, intended for use in hot water pressure vessels. It has been engineered using ANSI/ASME standards and is suitable for use with municipal water. It also meets the requirements of copper tubing used for domestic hot water systems. The Apollo valve is a non-rising stem, spring assisted, 2 piece design, which allows it to open freely when system pressure exceeds the setting and close tightly when system pressure returns to the setting or below.

This Relief Valve is designed for use on hot water, air-powered or water-powered boilers used within buildings for the purpose of producing steam or hot water for industrial or commercial use. It is also suitable for use on equipment, such as a pump, that experience a sudden high pressure rise.
