The W-984 is designed for 2 and 3 wire AC power coils. This DC contactor is furnished with a built-in 600 watt inrush current limiter that prevents arcing during start-up. A continuous duty AC relay contacts are rated at 100A @ 30VDC and have a coil resistance of 13.2 ohms.

This power contactor is ideal for control of electric currents in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and other industrial applications. It uses a thermally activated PMV DC power contactor that switches on when the temperature rises above 86°F and off when it falls below 53°F. No manganese dioxide is used as an auxiliary switch. Instead, the thermal magnetic unit itself is used as the auxiliary switch.
