For use in heat pumps, they replace double-pole AC contactors when the unit is being run in continuous defrost mode. This is a normally open coil with a continuously rated amperage of 100 amps and a contact rating of 100 amps at 240 VAC (500 V peak). The coil resistance is 13.2 ohms, and it has an inrush current of 400 amps at 240VAC (500 volts peak) for the first 10 seconds.
