The LOW WATER CUT-OFF/PUMP CONTROLLER is used on submersible pumps to prevent pump damage due to circulating pump suction water temperatures exceeding 140°F/60°C. This controller can also be used to control pump operation, or to shut down intake pumps during engine shutdown.

Low Water Cut-Off/Pump Controller 1 The 6048 provides the user the capability of initiating both a Low Water Cut-Off and Pump Controlller 1. This controller is designed for use on shallow well pumping systems with centrifugal pumps which have a remote pump control box.

The Hartland series of Low Water Cut-Off & Pump Controllers are used for the manual control of well pumps and water systems in mobile homes, campers or travel trailers, small commercial applications or anywhere unprotected electric pumps are used. The Hartland series controllers protect your pump from damage that may occur when pump discharge flow meter freezes due to a power failure or when no water is available for some reason because a pipe breaks and pump continues to operate. Maximum voltage is 12 volts DC and minimum voltage is 6 volts DC.

The new 6048LWC/1 is a low water cut-off available in 24V DC and 24V AC versions. It fully complies with the latest guidelines set by the SMWIA (Smiths Measurement and Control Association) for low water content on the surface of electrode solutions.

This controller automatically cuts off power to the pump once it reaches a preset water level, saving you operation costs and preventing water damage caused by excess flooding.
