Starter - ignitor is used on Lennox Gas Furnaces
This Ignitor has a low resistance and high interrupt rating. It is factory pre-set from the manufacturer for specific voltage and frequency ratings, and should be re-set by an experienced service technician only. Re-setting should be done on an actual or laboratory load to establish full contact gap clearance and leg wire length.
This ignitor has been manufactured by OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) for many popular furnace brands such as Bryant, Carrier, Heil, Payne, Rheem furnaces and it is also compatible with Amana Econia and Ruud furnaces.
Lennox 17J57 Ignitor Simple. Affordable. Advanced. The 17J57 is a performance ignition upgrade that’s easy and affordable. Unlike other igniters, the 17J57 ignitor plugs directly into your existing transformer and converts it to a standard 110 volt output while maintaining OMC control and operation. As an added benefit, it is designed to meet or exceed performance of the mechanical ignition system, so you don’t have to worry about unforeseen problems or next-time replacement costs.
The 17J57 ignitor is designed for use with the Lennox Nautilus II tankless hot water heater. The 17J57 igniring kit includes a plug-on heat coil to replace the existing factory installed heat coil. This kit's design features the microprocessor pilot control board and gas valve assembly that are required for gas valve operation.
The Lennox 17J57 ignitor is suitable for use in most steel-sheathed heating appliances typically found in homes with forced-air heating systems. This product does not include the wattage range or output voltage.
Championship reliability. Lennox high-efficiency gas and oil furnace ignitors are designed to be technologically superior individually or as complete system solutions for the highest quality installations. The flexible design is easy to integrate into existing HVAC systems, particularly those installed in mobile homes, RVs, and another smaller enclosed spaces.
