To install this switch into a Mod IV panel, the existing Aux. switch must be removed. This can best be accomplished by cutting the wires from the terminals to the switch. The wiring harness for the new Honeywell 1886 Aux. Switch has wire connectors that will reconnect the wires to the new Aux. switch.
