The 8221G005 is a 120/60, 110/50 Watt, Brass Body pilot operated slow closing solenoid valve with 3/4" pipe size and 2-way normally closed function. Nitrile butylene sealing is used with 3/4" orifice and 5.5 Cv flow. This solenoid valve is a pilot operated, normally closed, 3-way normally closed pipe fitting control valves with NC opening for electronic equipment. This valve has a 2-position stem to control CO; manual and electric actuator can be used, it is installed in the closed position during normal operation, and opened in manual or by electrical control signal as the actuator moves from its initial position to its second position. Modulating flow is achieved by splitting the input pressure to either or both ports.
These pilot operated valves are suitable for low flow applications (Cv less than 1.5) such as residential and commercial faucets, water coolers, and beverage and toilet tank fillers. Multiple control options include manual and automatic operation. A variety of inlet/outlet combinations are available to suit most plumbing systems. The pilot operated valves have a mechanical linkage that must be installed in the line, which can be easily accomplished by the user. The valves are screw mounted to the inlet or outlet with a 3/4" male pipe thread (NPT) and may also be flanged to a line.
