Normally open hi-limit with 115F cut-out close and snap disc fan control. Unit functions when line voltage is more than 10% of the trip set point. When voltage falls below 10% of the trip set point, unit will start normally closed and control gas or electric heaters. Supplied with 30 IN (76 CM) OF CABLE.

This thermostat is the one of White-Rodgers 130 series with a 115F cut off for radiant heat. It has an additional disc fan control that stops the furnace from turning on during short periods when someone is occupying a conditioned space.
The 5083 Series Thermostat is a simplified snap disc thermostat that is ideal for critical control of heating and cooling appliances. Designed especially for the "do it yourselfer", this low-voltage unit is a 1-piece, 2-wire mechanical device with a maximum supply voltage of 24VDC . It features magnetic snap disc and multivane operation, and can be used as an on/off controller or as a temperature controller. The 5083 series relays are not adjustable.
