The 5096 thermostat is a snap disc model thermostat with 10°F to 130°F temperature differential and is factory set at 115°F rise. This thermostat is in a white color and comes with a 1/2" straight cut-out. The 5096 was manufactured by White-Rodgers from the late 1930's through the early 1960's.

This thermostat is a snap disc-fan limit thermostat for heat pump systems. It is used to control the temperature of a circulating hot water system. This will open at 115F and close at 130F.

The White-Rodgers 5096 is a snap disc fan or limit 115/130F thermostat with cool wire A, B terminals and a heat on rise snap disc. The heat on rise limit switch contacts are normally open at 130°F to cut off the power when the set temperature is reached.

This thermostat, a member of the White-Rodgers 500 Series, is designed for both comfort and energy efficiency. The White-Rodgers 5096 Six Degree Day Thermostat measures from 65F to 85F and will work with forced air systems only. It is white in color and has a snap disc fan or limit 115/130 cut out temperature and will open on rise.
