The WHITE-RODGERS 5099 thermostat is a SNAP DISC thermostat, used on a hydronic heating system with an LRA (Limiting Radiator Assembly) to control the temperature within a room. The 5099 is a LIMIT and is 125/165F. This item replaces a 5098 which was used to control radiant heaters.

This thermostat is intended for use with water-to-air heat pump systems. It has a built in high limit (165F). The thermostat is powered by two AA batteries, a N.O. (normally open) contact and a N.C. (normally closed) contact.
