Board Mount Limit Controls are self-contained, compact, electrically operated temperature controllers. They are used to limit the temperature of heating and/or cooling devices on board ship.
This bimetal limit control is an easy to install device designed to quickly reset the desired temperature. The limit control opens at 175°F and closes at 145°F, designed for board mount applications by opening at a higher temperature for heat sensitive applications. Its unique construction provides fail-safe operation in both high and low voltage applications.
The disc board mount limit control maintains a constant temperature in a boiler or chiller regardless of the water or steam load, and is factory set to open at 175°F and close at 145°F.
Adjusting the water temperature in your kitchen is easy with this bimetal disc board mount limit control. The limit control will open at 175 degrees Fahrenheit and close at 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
The 100616 opens at 175 degrees F and closes at 145 degrees F. The limit controls are used as a safe means of controlling steam generator or radiator operation by limiting the air movement being applied to a unit. It is board mounted directly on the heating element of the heating system.
The 1/2" Limit Board Mount control is recommended for open-air, or panel mount applications. It has a 2 lead, 3 conductor wiring design with a minimum load of 250 watts, and has a maximum control travel range of .450 inch (11.43 mm). The operating temperature range for this White-Rodgers limit board mount control is from -20 degrees F (-29 degrees C) to 300 degrees F (149 degrees C).
