White-Rodgers 100616 - Limit Controls are designed to protect equipment from excessive thermal rise or exceedance. Limit controls open at a predetermined temperature (open angle) and then close (at a predetermined temperature) to protect the equipment.

This Disc Board Mount Limit Control from White-Rodgers is designed to open at a preset temperature and close at another. It is perfect for use with Gas, Oil and Dual Fuel appliances. It features a 1/2" Bimetal design which allows the unit to work on both low and high pressure systems. The resettable manual reset operates with a 1/2" NPT connection and it opens at 175 degrees F (80 degrees C) and closes at 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).

This 1/2" bimetal disc type limit control senses temperature and controls flow. The two-piece assembly has a spring-loaded actuator that opens the valve at 175 degrees F and closes the valve at 145 degrees F.

Enclosure is made of brass plated steel, with nickel plated paddle and disc. Grounding lug included. On/off ratio is 100:1, time delay is 0-30 seconds, and temperature range is 50-180 degrees F (50-82 C).
