The Armstrong "Mini" Hot Surface Furnace MINI-IGNITER meets the most demanding requirements of industrial foundry and diecasting applications. The high thermal efficiency and inherent safety characteristics of the Mini-Ignitor, combined with forgiving combustion air parameters, ensures trouble free operation in aging furnaces.

Robertshaw Mini Hot Surface Furnace which delivers 5.7 amps to run small furnace accessories and the hot surface ignitor (HSI). The model 44744 will accept a maximum cable length of 10', with wire size of 0.5-1.0 mm² (18-16 gauge).

Built especially for the HVAC professional, Armstrong has developed this small-batch furnace that is ideal for all HVACR applications. The 62793 44744-2 Armstrong Hot Surface Furnace Mini-Ignitor features a quiet electronic ignition with stainless steel burner, a compact pedestal base, an accurate pyrometer and a thermocouple heat sensor.

The Armstrong® mini hot surface furnace is an inexpensive way to keep molten metal in a hot state. When the furnace is placed on or stirred with the temperature probe, it can raise the molten metal above its solidification point.

The Armstrong Furnace Mini-Ignitor screws into the burner orifice to insulate the igniter from the burner flame so that it will heat up fast and work effectively. It is adjustable and fits all standard gas valve openings.
