The Limit Switch - Auto Reset (HALC) attaches to the limit switch actuator and senses the position of the outdoor unit.

RHEEM's Limit Switch - Auto Reset (HALC) is built for a variety of applications to aid in the overall function of your unit. This device sends a signal to the unit to halt or stop once the preset temperature has been achieved.

THE ABCS OF SWITCHING. When a switch is triggered, it closes an electrical circuit. The RHEEM Limit Switch-Auto Reset (HALC) automatically opens the circuit when tripped. After the system resets itself, it will return to that firing point again and again, until another trip is triggered.

Our HALC Limit Switch - Auto Reset is designed to monitor a potentially hazardous condition, such as excessive fluid temperature, reduced flow of gas, or low pressure. When tripped by an unsafe condition it will automatically enable the equipment to stop or slow down so a safe operating condition can be restored. When the hazardous condition is removed the switch conditions the equipment to resume the last normal operation.
