The RHEEM 174143 / Protech - High Pressure Limit - Auto Reset - Pilot Safety Valve is designed to protect the system against high system pressure.

The RPHA-18 High Pressure Limit & Auto Reset combines the Rheem Protech circuit board control system with a high pressure cut-off set at 170 PSI and Auto Reset at 175 PSI. The RPHA-18 will trip between 165 and 170 PSI and reset itself between 175 and 200 PSI. The built in pressure relief valve automatically releases steam from the boiler if the pressure exceeds 175 PSI. Pressure is released from the boiler through a 1/2 NPT safety valve (RHEEM supplied) which allows for a potential 1/2 psi vent loss, only if the relief value is open

This double pole high pressure limit with auto reset is perfect for protection of multiple heating elements including gas pipe sizing 0.25 to 1 inch and system applications of 1000-10000 BTU per pole or less.
