The Nordyne 277131 Pressure Switch -.90 is a pressure switch that stops the gas from the pilot burner orifice when the pilot flame goes out. It switches on and off as a result of the natural pressure of the gas and it does not require an electrical connection. This switch fits directly onto gas valves, like those found on ranges, water heaters, fireplaces, etc. This pressure switch is designed to be installed above or inline with the fuel line.
