The HS780-3 System Module has been designed to meet the new Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 404/D 8 and UL 924 requirements as a secondary detection component for a fire sprinkler system in buildings containing Group A, B, C occupancies. This module is activated by heat from a fire and is used in place of a water flow switch. The HS780-3 module may be used on any brand UL approved commercial or residential sprinkler system where it is desired to provide for silent automatic alarm operation and or, remote signal actuation. The HS780 series igniter provides an alternative to the MCM-xx control panels. The inclusion of a local sensor into the igniter design allows quick and easy installation. With just a simple jumper the igniter will interface with a three or six second valve.
