The HS780-1 Hot Surface Ignition Module, Local Sensor is designed to integrate with most ROBERTSHAW 4550 Series furnaces. This module is not required to operate your HSI furnace, but it does provide the convenience of additional features. The HS780-1 gives you the ability to select a shorter warm up time (4 seconds) for ignition on an electric ignition system. It can also help your HSI furnace achieve its full heating capacity more quickly.
The HS780-1 hot surface ignition module provides ignition to Class B gas appliances connected to the lower left burner of an 80% or larger LP/ NG high output burner.

It also offers optional phase linked operation for OEM applications that require three phase power or a larger pilot flame source.
